Biography

Bishop Robert S. Davis, Jr. (Robbie) is on a mission to help people win in life. He is a Bible teacher, visionary leader, strategic team builder, and Church developer who is committed to motivating people to embrace victory today through life’s eternal champion, Jesus Christ. Robbie is a graduate of Mid-America Christian University and the Azusa Pacific University Seminary. He was licensed as a gospel preacher in 1990 and ordained into the Christian ministry in 1993. He has been married to the love of his life for 36 years. Robbie and Robin raised seven children and now they are proud grandparents.

2025 marks 40 years of preaching and ministry for Bishop Robbie. In 2003, after serving as Assistant Pastor for 15 years, he succeeded his father and mentor Bishop Robert Davis, Sr as the Lead Pastor of Long Reach Church of God (now Celebration Church). Under his leadership the ministry has grown significantly and continues to offer life-lifting opportunities in the church and surrounding communities. In 2019 he led Celebration Church in the acquisition of a state-of-the-art worship and ministry center – a building that also serves as the home of a Christian school and a hub for small black-owned businesses.
From his earlier days as a teenage preacher, Brother Robbie’s zeal for helping people win in life on the foundation of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ shines brighter with each passing year. His visionary leadership, solid Bible teaching, and commitment to team ministry are all working together to help thousands of people make an eternal connection with Christ and fully develop as human beings on this side of heaven. In his own words—“while it may not matter if you win or lose a game…in life, WINNING MATTERS!”
